Hello, I have an older proxy server on my network which is due for replacement in a few months. The server runs windows 2000 ent edition as well as ISA 2000. Today for no reason i can fathom, all users accessing the internet via this proxy access the websites required but there are no images displayed, only a red cross were the image is meant to be.

There are two dns servers on the network and they seem to work ok, although the primary DNS server uses the proxy in question for external resolution. Am I on the right track? Is this a DNS issue or should I be looking at ISA server instead.

Any help will be greatle appreciated.

DNS will not affect the loading of images. You should check that your proxy server isn't set to filter certain file types. Also does this apply to all images or just certain ones since it could also be an issue on the client side. Hope this helps.

Regards

Terry
