I need you advice.

I have been given what I believe to be a good price on getting my MCSE2000. The "bundle" also includes the CompTIA A+ and N+ which I want. The problem for me is that I would have to take the two CompTIA corses, and the 7 MCSE2000 exams within 12 months of signing up.

In your opinions, how easy would it be to fit all of that in whilst still having a full time job and not much time off to do any Microsft work?

I was thinking of working for a MCSA2000 first, along with the two CompTIA courses. The exams I would take for the MCSA are Core:70-270, 70-215, 70-218, and an Elective of either 70-214/224. These are are useful to my current job and are also needed for the MCSE2000.

Is it possible to do those four exams to get my MCSA2000 and then do 2 more core exams and an elective to change it up to my desired MCSE2000

Any help would be greatly appreciated as with most things Microsoft, I can't always get my head around first time round.

Cheers Andy

I've not done any of the CompTIA exams, but I've taken 3-4 months per MCP on average when working full time, studying in my own time. I am single and have no dependent relatives, so that increased the time available for me to spend studying, but it is something to factor in if you have a family to look after.

I wouldn't say it wasn't possible to obtain your MCSA2000 plus the two CompTIA exams in a year, but it would need a lot of hard work, determination and not very many commitments outside of work and study.
