Is this a layer 3 swicth or Layer 2?

Bonehead question, I know, but I can get a spec on google. We are looking for something like a 3500 series for Vlan-ing Layer 3.

Layer 2 only , any 2960 is layer 2 only .

The current layer 3 offering is a 3560 from cisco , just an upgraded version of the 3550 . Don't really know what the differences are probably a little faster and maybe more VOIP options etc..........
