What would cause the tops of the letters to be cut off on a Word2000 document?

When printed? I would say a problem with the printer driver.

As displayed on the screen? I would take a guess at monitor or video driver.

Does another computer experience the same problem with the same document?

That is the way it appears on screen. I have not seen it printed or looked at it on another pc. I will do both and get back to you thanks.

I would also check the formatting for paragraphs. Check the spacing Before and After fields. Set back to zero and single line spacing.
