Is there anything for Calendar sharing and task management in php

Hello everyone.

I'm looking for a solution to be able to use a calendar and task scheduling similar to what Microsoft exchange offers.

I'm planning to use qmail as the mail server and would like to be able to implement the same and similar features that outlook offers with exchange to do the follwoing:

Share a calendar in a company (so that users can see the master caledar of events)
Assign task to some one or a group of users.

Is that a php application out there that can do this?


Can you suggest a solution?

I've never used any of them myself. You can find several programs like that on sourceforge (

Go there and search for groupware or task scheduleing.
