Is there any way to create raised panels or raised labels in Visual Foxpro it is fairly easy in VB.

raised panels or raised labels

I am so sorry, but what is that?! Walid Magd

I think what you are referring to can be achieved by using a container in Fox. Set the SpecialEffect. Off the top of my head I think it is

SpecialEffect = 0 (Flat)
SpecialEffect = 1 (Raised)
SpecialEffect = 2 (Sunken)

However, I could be wrong. But this gives you the idea. Now edit and insert a label in the container and you will achieve a raised label. Then from there either edit the caption directly or by using:

containername.labelname.Caption = "What ever"

Set the SpecialEffects Property to 3D. But this is not available for labels. ramani :-9

Just Check this link ....

If you download that 3dct Class and add that to your project, you can drag and drop the shadow label to your form and set properties just like you do to other labels.

Hope this is interesting to you ! ramani :-9
