is there an activex for parallel port like mscomm32

I don't believe there is one in the standard MS files. Try going to or and searching on Parallel - you'll probably find a control or two. You may also want to check at and they both sell ActiveX/COM components, and they've actually heard of VFP, so you can get support on their controls.
