I am creating reports for other users. Many users for the same report. I would like to hide the design tab for security purposes.

Thanks for any help.

Jinny,

If you want security hiding the design is not the way to go. You should compile the report and give the users the access to the executeable, that way they cannot alter the format, layout, formulas, record selection logic, etc.

Also, by using the executable, the users are not taking up a crystal reports license. Software Support for Sage Mas90, Macola, Crystal Reports, Goldmine and MS Office

See faq149-277 for info on the compile feature.
