Okay maybe if I explain a little more. My boss gave me a pdf file that is a mailing list of 250 people. He wants me to figure out how to make it so that we can put those people on lables easily. All I have been able to do is put them in a word document and then edit alot...I figure there has to be an easier way than this though.
I'm still murky on the issue. If the PDF "is a mailing list of 250 people", then just print it. What editing is required, and why?
Ok, I'm ignoring that and treating this as just a generic "can I edit a PDF file" question.
That question has been addressed many times on this forum.
With Acrobat, you can do very limited editing. To do wholesale edits, re-arrangements, etc. you have to use either the original source document, or use a tool that can edit PDF documents. Most Adobe applications now understand the PDF format, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
