I have a db that's in 6.5 compatibility mode because there's embedded 6.5 syntax in several sp's. Is there a way to identify or convert to 8.0?

TIA

There's no easy way that I am aware of. Check out for info on upgrading to SQL2000. You can make a copy of the 6.5 database, upgrade the copy and document any changes necessary, then test like crazy before upgrading the live database. Good luck!

Thanks,
This is an existing 2000 install. The db is in 6.5 compatibilty mode because of the old code. Was hoping there was a tool that could identify the syntax.
