Is there perhaps a "current" field just as there is a current record? I'm trying to use VBA to enable users to click a button and have check marks placed in every row for a specific field of a subform whose cell has the focus. So far I've come up dry after searching Help and the net. This elusive "current" field would naturally be present within the current record. Thanks to anyone who has a solution.

Take a look at the ActiveControl and PreviousControl properties.

Hope This Helps, PH.

Thanks, PH. I discovered that you can append ".Name" ('.ActiveControl.Name') and get exactly what is needed. This is excellent - can't thank you enough.
