We have a Definity G3 V11 and want to block a certain external number from terminating at one of our DID's.

Is there a way by creating a new COR FRL from blocking this one number only and then assigning the new COR to the ext? Or will this have to be done by the CO terminating the call trunk side?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanx:)

You can do this via EC500. Do you have that? If so, I'll dig up our procedures.

Yes we do have EC500. Thx

Create an EC500 station with the offending number you wish to block. Set the Mapping Mode to "orgination". Create a unique COR with the Calling Party Restriction set to "orgination", and assign this COR to the new (call block) EC500 station.

Calls from this number to any DID in your PBX will now receive a busy signal.
