I also use Sidekick 99 religiously. Knowing that it is no longer supported, I am also concerned about finding a similar type program to replace it. So far, the closest I have come is a program called Anytime Deluxe. I played with the program and although it is like Sidekick in many ways, it is inferior in certain respects. For example, you can't set up notes in different folders with tabs like you can in Sidekick. I use the notes feature in Sidekick extensively. They have some type of feature called grouping (some type of filter) to separate notes out into different cagtegories, but I could not get it to work to my satisfaction. I may look at the program again soon. The other PIM I have seriously looked at is Lotus (IBM) Organizer, which is actually a pretty good program. It is a more serious application geered towards the business user. Personally, I cannot believe that Starfish did not sell Sidekick to some other company that would continue to improve and support it. I guess you can blame Microsoft for this, as Outlook has pretty much overwhelmed the market for PIM's.
