Dear all,

Help ...

We are currently backing up two separate W2K server with SQL Server 2000 installed on both. We are using Arcserve Ver 9.01 we need to know if we can put the license for sql agent ver 11.0/1 which is the current available version in the market.(as the trial version had expired on the other Server).

We want to confirm if this will work.

Please advise . . .

Many thanks in advance...

I understand, but is it possible to use the same SQL agent licensed on two separate W2K Server with SQL Server 2000 installed? What I mean is, the base product SQL2000 and SQL Agent is installed on the first Server and SQL 2000 + SQL Agent on the second Server but same Licensed with the first one...

No, you need a separately licenced installation for each server or you'd effectively be using an unlicenced copy on the second server in breach of copyright.
