Hi,
I just purchased an msi 865 Neo2 PLS mainboard, and I'm planning to buy a new video card in the near future. but right now I would just like to know if I can use this Gforce2 32 MB mx/mx400 card I have on the new mainboard for now.I read a warning that said you can't insert 3.3v AGP 2x cards, because this would burn the mainboard.
I haven't found much info about this, and I don't have my card's original manual.
I also read that there are AGP 4x cards that can switch from 3.3v to 1.5v (required for the board). I would really thank any help here, maybe a link with the specs (nvidia.com doesn't have much info about this) or anything else.
thanks

All AGP 4x cards can run at both 3.3v and 1.5v accomodating the slot that they are in.

The warning you're referring to is about using an old card (like AGP 1x or 2x) that only runs at 3.3v. Those type of cards can ruin a motherboard that uses an AGP slot which runs at either 1.5v or 0.8v.

You shouldn't have to worry about your card.
