Hi all
I have a Database which was built on a 98 system with access 97 and when I tried to display it on a windows 2000 Pc it crashed the error message said "disc or network error, or disk hads failed this happened to 2 disks " anyone able to help,I would be grateful.

Not a good sign. Do you have access to another 98 system? Is your DB on a floppy? Try loading anything else even a .doc file into the 2000 and see if its drive is bad. Gord

I had this troble before , when they brought out windows 98 my 95 work would not update to 98 but 98 work would in 95 .
I got over this problem though by deleting the cog icon in my floppy which says that the actual database your running is open, if you know what I mean , the icon that is names after you db.

jim thanks anyway
