I'm not suggesting, though, that it responded to it's own prompt. That would be crazy. I'm just saying that the execution of the code happened in such a way that the message box popped up and went away to quickly to catch what it was saying.
you know those times when you're checking some values in a, say datagrid loop, and cause you were lazy you set up a messagebox to tell you the value, and its gonna pop up about 200 times, and your bashing away at the enter key ...
Sorry, are you talking about: a message pops up and then disappears before you can read it? I think that its because there are several threads running at the same time, one checks the progress of the other and if it sees the other hasn't finished at an appropriate time, it ends it (also closing the message box)...
