Is it safe to delete $NTUninstall*$ 2

I have these files in my C:\WINDOWS directory and I've never found anything saying that it's not safe to delete them.

These relate to windows updates. You can delete these files safely, however you will loose the ability to uninstall the updates at a later date.

Usually it is as long as you have no plans to uninstall a Hotfix.

But the incredible Doug Knox has a utility to make this as goof proof as possible, and I enourage you to use this excellent freeware:
