Hi All
I have a user in the office who has a high speed cable connection on his home computer. He wants to bring it into work and set up a connection within our office network as well. Now, I realize that I could do this but I would have to keep changing the network settings every time that he leaves the office to go home. So,I would like to know if it is possible to set up a laptop running windows 98 with 2 network connections so that he can disable one connection whenever he switches networks.

Thanks in Advance
Dave

This might be an idea for the easiest solution:
I cheated and accomplished a similar setup by dual-booting Win98SE at home on a peer-to-peer network and in the office by booting to Win2000 for an NT4 server-based network. Made life much easier for me. Also gave me the better [required] network security in the office. The only issue is possibly having any required programs installed in both partitions/Operating Systems. I kept both partitions at FAT32 for common access.

I would make another harware profile one for at home and one for work.
