best way is net use ltp1: \\server\printershare /persistent:no
There are other ways of doing this, and also if you are mapping to unix printers etc but this should work. You will also need to create a local printer on the persons PC who is mapping the printer, so the print job has somewhere to go to - once you print, it is redirected to the network mapping.
