Is it possible to break a long macro/vba RUNNING process...

I was just wondering if I could kill a process run from another button from a form by having the ability to press a cancel button.

I tried this, but while the process is running via a macro/vba the mouse functionality within the application is idle/disabled therefore even if i try and click anywhere else it won't let me.

anyone have any idea what i'm talkin about?

i know that one, but ctl+brk keys breaks the process but also opens up the the code in design view...showing where it broke, i defenitely don't want that. Might their be an alternative to haveing maybe an out clause sort to speak when running a long process in access?

You didn't say you knew that one !

In your code you need a Doevents statement. This allows your routine to check for any button clicks on the form.
