Is Intuity capable of sharing voicemail between two ext.?

We have intuity audix and a G3SI Running V6. I have an office that wants two phones to share a voicemail box. Plus they want calls to forward to the next phone if they are on the phone. I set it up in the coverage paths so they cover to the other extensions, but it only covers back to the voicemail on the originally dialed extension. The only other option I've come up with is to create a hunt group and assign the voice mail to the hunt group, but that uses an extra ext#. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

I think there are a couple of discussions on this allready. To get this to function go to the Voice Mail system. Lets say you are using extension 1000 and extension 1001. In the voice mail system delete subscriber 1001. All messages will be deleted so make sure they get them all before you delete it. Do a "change subscriber 1000" On the first page of the subscriber form there is a entry for a secondary extension. Put extension 1001 there. Both voice extensions will now share this voice mail box. You know have a with message light notification on the Definity. Login to your Definity. Do a "change station 1001". On the station form change the field "Message Lamp Extension:" from 1001 to 1000. Message lights for voice mail will now be correct on both phones. The LWC Reseption: should be set to "Audix" (assumes a c-lan or x.25 integration). Hope this helps

In my office we were asked to create an extension that would be used only to collect voicemails. The boss wanted it to be accessed by 3 users and for them to know when a new message was in without having to check every 5 minutes. On the persons phone via the Definity side we put a aut-msg-wt function with the extension assigned to the vm on their feature button form for the phone. I know it is a little different than what you were asking for.
