Is Client Agent license included with server license?

Hi,

I plan to install Arcserve Backup R11 on 5 servers for local backups.

I also plan to install client agents on servers 1-4 so that all servers will backup to server 5 in the weekends. Do I need to purchase 4 client agents, or is the client agent license included by default with each server license?

Check with your reseller - it will depend on what you bought but client agents normally do not come bundled if you just buy a server licence. You will need to enter a separate licence (on the host server) for the client agents in addition to your host server licence key.

Client Agent licenses are needed with 11.1.
