Is an older hdd-ata66 OK with mobo running at 133 1

Need to know if this would slow down the transfer speed of the hard drive

You shou;d be fine. What is important is can the board do ATA100? The bus speed of the system not as importand as the ata capabilities of the Hard drive and controller.
