Is Access 2007 worth shifting to? 1

Is it worth moving onto Access 2007. I think from what I read it's more dependent on using macros rather than VB. So does that take away more defined working conditions where you just have to accept what you can choose in a macro. What benefits are there, some say it adds more time to create applications.?
 
Many thanks Remou, that does it for me. I am not going to bother until the lights go out. I used VB6 untill it went to VBNET, and I jumped ship then.
