Microsoft seems to have removed any concept of an Infrared MODEM in W2K. Is this true?<br><br>I have an Ericsson i888 World but can't, for the life of me, get W2K to run it. The InfraRed on a Serial Cable sees it but there's no COM ports or anything.<br><br>Does anybody have any help or advice for me please?<br><br>Thanks in advance.

Yes IR works with win2k, you need to install an device driver that works with the IR hardware on your PC.
