Has anybody had any trouble connecting to the internet or anywhere else using an infrared link between a mobile phone and a laptop running XP Pro?
I've used the same mobiles (Nokia 6310)on a ME laptop, accessing the same sites/applications and it all works fine.
I've loaded the latest Nokia software, but still no joy. The only difference I've noticed is that on a ME or W2k Pc, in the control panel/Hardware devices the IRDA link is listed as a Nokia 6310 (IRDA), and on the XP it only comes up as Standard IR link.
Any ideas will be tried.
