IPV4/IPV6 mixed network

Hello

I need to use my network as mixed mode.
Some of the machines will be having IPV4 address only.
Some of the machines will be having IPV6 address only.

Both machines should communicate to each other.
I tried with Microsoft platform .

Windows 2000 -- NATPT server
This is having both IPV4 & IPV6 addresses.
CLient --Windows 2k3 -- IPV6
Windows 2k --- IPV4
Installed MSRIPV6 also.

But still I am not able to communicate .


Anything in Linux ...I tried with downloading NATPT rpm
but don't know how to proceed.


Any help will be greatly appreciated .

why not try bridging at the ethernet level? some interesting sites discussing this are below

WTF? Why not use multicast? So much easier.
As long as some hosts are null clients and others
are 'on' you'll need to do configs client side.
Multicast is the easy way out and doesn't involve the most popular methods to deal with ipv4 'under' ipv6..i.e:
tunneling..right now.. Just my 2 cents.
