hello gurus!

please help me workaround my problem in configuring iptables in REd Hat Linux 9. The built-in iptables file (in the directory /etc/sysconfig/iptables) says it was created by lokkit and is not recommended for manual customization. i have to customize an iptables script that will suit to our office's need so i tried replacing the built-in iptable file with the one i created but it did not work. i tried integrating the customized script to the built-in iptables file but just the same it did not work. please advise on how to go about this. thanks a lot.
