The customer has up office 500v2 with 8.1(67) and all up phones 9620 and 9640 the all page feature use to work no problems but now when you press all page button ((Group Page) all phones speaker button lights up then call is disconnected
I verified myself on-site that buttons are correct and they select (group page) and the correct hunt group ext499 named All Page.
I was able to reproduce the issue. So, I then rested a new hunt group with 2 9640 in the group called it test page and ext 498 it is built as collective with no queuing and no vmail. and is a regular hunt group. Also made sure that each of the phones only have the new page button with new page group selected.
I made sure to remove these 2 phones from the other page group and saved config and did a reboot.
Then I proceeded to perform a all page and same issue
In extension, all phones have fast start disabled and direct media path enabled.
Customer has 2-vcm64 but no problem other than paging.
NOTE: customer does their own adds, moves, changes and I noticed they are running a higher firmware on the phones than what was originally installed at installation time. Customer confirmed that they do update their firmware on the phones when a new release is available.
Here is a monitor trace:
When I hit the button, I can see on an extension that I am paging too that the Speaker Icon on the phone goes red for half a second, and then drops.
In System Status, for the extension making the call, this is the output I get:
11/9/16 10:57:07 AM-488ms Extension = 293, Pressed Programmed Button, Button Number = 9, Label = Group Paging
11/9/16 10:57:07 AM-511ms Extension = 293, State = Busy Wrap Up

11/9/16 10:57:12 AM-636ms Extension = 293, State = Idle
