IPOffice 3.1.48 & Voicemail

We've got IPO3.1.48 and VMPro3.1.16 running in our lab and have run into something, so its time to toss it around the community for poking and prodding.
We find that we can set passwords for voicemail as before, when using the telephone. The differences are in the Manager. We found that
a) An admin can no longer delete the voicemail code, but must make a new one that the user must then overwrite.
b) That password entered can not be a combination of up & down consecutive, like 1212 or 1232, like it worked before.

Any ideas on whether this change is by design or bug???
 
probably an accidental feature change/intentional bug

nothing I have found in the new documents explains it, but years ago there was a push for these same sort of password guidelines on Avaya products,

and I would guess if you try to blank out the password that would fall outside of their guidelines,

I would be interested to see if anyone else has found this, as I have yet to upgrade anyone to 3.1 (waiting for February)
 
raknas, can you provide a link or more detains on where you found it?? I must be missing something and it's probably right in front of me
 
what i meant is that i had a site with 3.0 (69) and it would not allow me to put in the extn number in the voicemail code as i usually do or type in consecutive number.
 
now if we can just find the documentation on this feature
