this is coming out in 6.1
2.2.4 Multiple Music on Hold sources and MOH enhancements
Supported on IP500, IP500V2, 406V2, IP412 with Phone Modules.
Based on field feedback we will enhance the existing IP Office MoH functionality to permit more than one external MoH input, and set the MoH source for outbound calls.
IP Office will add the ability to take MoH from an analogue extension port. Unlike playing WAV files using an Analogue Extension port will not use a Data Channel. There will be a new Equipment Classification option for Analogue Extension ports; "MoH Source".
Extensions configured as MoH source will count as extensions for licensing - specifically in the limit of 32 extensions for Small System Upgrade License.
An Extension configured as MoH Source will have a specific icon in Manager.
A new ShortCode telephone number character 'h' will be added to select the MoH source that will be used when a call is placed on hold by the system originating the call. Including h(x), where x=1-4, in the Telephone Number field of a ShortCode will select the appropriate MoH source. If the given source is not configured, the setting will be ignored. A call may pass through more than one ShortCode (ARS for example), the last one to set the MoH source is the one that will ultimately be used. Only lower case 'h' will be used - not upper case 'H'.
This is intended for outgoing calls but will affect an incoming call that routes via a ShortCode setting the value.
This will be supported on all current IP Office platforms and all Analogue Extension ports, ETR ports will not be supported.
