(I have looked for this answer, but didn't see it).

I am upgrading from a 8.0 (Essential Edition) to a 9.1. Purchased the T9.1 Small Upgrade (we are less than 32 users). I have reviewed the process for upgrading, knowing I can't just go from 8.0 to 9.1 straight.

My real question pertains to the 2 remote 9608 phones. Will those phones connect in after the upgraded and download the newest software? I know when they were first setup we had to plug them in locally and then ship them out to the end users.

I know we have to change the default passwords before the upgrade.

Any other tips?

Thanks.

They'll probably connect without upgrading, but if you have set the fileserver on the phones to the IPO (or a weserver with new files) they should upgrade just fine when being rebooted.
You don't need to change any password for them to upgrade.

I have had remote phones stop working and needed a firmware upgrade.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!
