We are starting up a facility in China and was looking at installing an extra IPO406v2 we have. We purchased this unit in the US.

Are there differences between US and Chinese POTs and T1 lines?

We have 2 extra IP406 Office DS v2 MU-LAW PCS10 & 9
We also have a
PRI 24 T1
ATM4U
2xAnalog Trunk 4 port modules
VCM16 and a VCM10
DS16 Module

We are planning around 24 users China. We were looking at Standard phone lines in China. Starting with 4 to possibly 8. And then link up to a IP412 in the US (as long as the delay is acceptable)

Is this possible? Does the system support the Chinese locality? I wasn't sure how the system supported it.

We would need to purchase a VM lite module. Do they support Chinese?

Thanks in advance.

You might run into issues connecting a phone system from china to the US. You might want to check local chinese laws, and also the local leaders of the area. (bribes)

You will find comms is highly controlled in communist china. check first or someone might get into a lot of trouble.

Is it possible to use the avaya phone system in China for local service? I will have our overseas counterparts contact the local authority to see whether we can link the systems. I didn't really think about as they are all currently using skype. Thanks.
