Hello

I have a site whereby the DDI isn't following pgm167 when busy. A DDI will ring in(DDI Conversion 2, flex DDI table 231) and will ring the extension(digital or analogue). If busy I would like the call to get busy tome but at the moment its saying 'Station is Busy' then proceeds to ring the main attendant. We have changed pgm 167 busy dest to be 'Tone' and even 'Hunt' but its not following this pgm step. The call is following the DDI/Disa timer. I have this working on other IPLDK300's and have recently upgraded to latest level as per our dealers instructions but still cant figure it out.

I still think that a setting or timer somewhere on the system is overriding it and need some pointers please.

I am going to site tomorrow PM and would appreciate any assistance on this.

I would re-record the VMIB prompt that says "Station is busy" to an emppty message (i.e. silent). But there is in PGM 160-161 or 180-182 a setting, where this could be removed.

Hi

But then the call would still be transferred after the silent message. Must be something that's been switched on to affect the pgm 167.

Will check the timers and 160/161 though.

Cheers

Or put the attendants into a group with overflow to a station with diversion to voice mail - or overflow to a CCR with hang-up after giving a message.

make sure pgm 144/145 is switched off on the lines concerned , I know this should not affect the isdn circuits but does if not switched off totally.

Hi

Got round it today by recording a busy tone onto msg 20 then using msg 20 with #(drop) on re-route dest in ddi programming for each individual ddi. Not ideal but works.

Montyzummer - So if the engineer had left in the default extension in pgm144 for day and night then it could well still follow that route overriding the pgm 167? To be honest I never checked that this morning but will dial in and check. thanks.
