IPLDK20 Problems! 1

Hi, first time poster long time lurker

We have an ipldk 20 and unfortunately the company that installed it have now gone bust in the uk so looking for some advice!

We had an analogue line connected to our system say line06 and it went directly to an extension socket say number 26. Now the analogue line has been disconnected and we just use the two isdn numbers we have connected into the system. However the tone when you try and dial out from that extension is intermittent and you have to hit recall to dial internally.

I have successfully added the extenion to a hunt/ring group so it rings when a number is called, but i think the phone is still linked to that old line.

Is there a way to allow this number to dial internally without the 'r' and how do I remove this unused line from our system?

I think this is all done with the main phone with an admin program but i am not sure what i am looking for, can someone help please.

program 141 enter the dead line number twice you want to unassign then press flex key 1,and put the line in a different group that no extensions have access to usualy last group on display, you can change the extension line group access in pgm 117 enter the extension number twice and the flex keys that are lit refer to the line groups set up in pgm 141 ensure you only have that extension assigned to groups that have your active BRI circuits present.

Oh it also looks like that handset was in a hot line mode so change first in pgm 113 (ext number twice ) hit flex key 1 until it changes to warm hold/save, then same process in pgm 122 except on flex key 1 hit speed hold/save and that will cancel out , I belive that is why you are having to hit Recall to break the hot line function to dial internally.

It worked perfectly. First i removed the hot desk functionality and made it warm. Then I added it to the main calling groups and now it works!
