Ipldk recordings on VMIB 1

Since VMIB / VMIB2 / VMIB II use flash ram, the messages will not be lost.

That may be the case with IPLDK20. Sorry I didn't specify model it was an IPLDK 100.
The customer in question had a failure of the main power supply on IPLDK100 it retianed all the programming but none of the messages/announcements on the VMIB card. MPB memory support battery was fine. VMIB memory support battery had gone flat, messages lost. I was hoping performing a back up of system would contain audion on message card as I have many clients with very complex message routing.
