Hi All

I have heard some horror stories of customers being hacked via voicemail on these systems. Can anyone tell me what measures to take to 100% avoid this happening?

Cheers in advance

Joe

Hi Joe,
Systems get hacked due to weak or silly password being used on the systems.
ie If a mail box is given a password of 1234 - this is not secure.

By default (UK) the ipLDK 20 does not have any Station or System Auth Codes (passwords) set, the CO Line side is also protected (DISA Account Code) therefore one can break out - as the system requires a password, which there are none to use.

When the engineer or user adds a password - then the system is as secure as the password set.

Regards
Steve
