Hi,

I'm trying to setup an ipLDK-20 to route calls to certain extensions depending on winch number is called. I have a couple of SIP phone lines connected trough a SIP->ISDN box. So the LDK sees the calls as normal ISDN calls. The SIP->ISDN box send MSN and CLI to the LDK.

I have tried to follow the flow chart on page 15 of the manual. Some how only one scenario is working and I can't figure out why.

I have two lines, xxxxxx3000 and xxxxxx6000 where the first six digits of the numbers are the same.

This setup is working:
In CO line ISDN Attributes (PGM143) I have set DID Conv type to 2
In CO line Attributes III (PGM146) I have set DID RCV Digit Number to 4 and DID Digit Conversion to ***# (to select the first three digits of the last four of the number since the Flexible DID table only seems to have the ability to select from index 0-999)
In Flexible DID Table (PGM231) I then set index 300 and 600 to the settings I want.

This works perfect – the calls are routed to the extensions I want and the name I have entered in the Flexible DID table show in the display of the telephone.

But when I read the manual the first step of the LDK when a call is received from an ISDN line is to look up the called number in the MSN table. I have tried this setup but it doesn't seem to work:
In the MSN Table (PGM202) I setup the lines as follows:
CO Start, CO End, Flex DID Table Index, Sub Number, MSN Number
0: 1, 1, 0, [EMTPY],xxxxxx3000
1: 2, 2, 1, [EMTPY],xxxxxx6000
In Flexible DID Table (PGM231) I then set index 0 and 1 to the settings I want – the same way as earlier.

But with thees settings nothing happens – the settings are ignored.

Can someone pleas tell me what I'm doing och understanding wrong. I'm rather new to both using a PBX and ISDN.

Hello
Why use msn when the ddi is ok ?

We use MSN in DK only when the ddi/msn numbers is equal in the last 4 digi
12345678 and 11115678

ddi 0, CO range 1-2 (all lines), MSN 12345678 (all the digi in number)
ddi 1, CO range 1-2 (all lines), MSN 11115678 (all the digi in number)

your msn setup looks ok, only the CO range only cover one cannal in ISDN, should cover all cannals (because if the cannal 1 is occupied the call from xxxxxx3000 wont come true)

Thanks Abl2910!

I found today that i had to remove the first 0 from the area code. Together with fixing the CO range as you suggested solved the problem.

Why use MSN? - Well I think it's looks and feels simpler than having the numbers converted, removing the last digit from the last four leaving 300 and 600. And setting DID 300 and 600. Especially since i only have two lines and two numbers.

I also have tried to set up the flexi buttons on the phones so that i can select which line to call from - right now when I press a button for CO1 och CO2 it just takes the preset line in the SIP-ISDN-box. Any ideas?

Hello
ok fine

it could be the sip box, normaly you make a bottom for co1 and co2 like you did. (CO line bottom)
then you can chose line number via bottom

I found two solutions to that to. Either I just make the settings in CO Line ISDN PGM143 CLIP Table Index. Or I add an MSN button to the flexi buttons for each line.

Hello
ok
i understand you vil show your number, then it is in prg 143
