When wiring a basic iPECS-SBG-1000 to a LAN network I connect a network cable from any of the Yellow LAN Ports to the customers switch. When I need to use the WAN connection for VPN should I now move the cable from the LAN port to the WAN connection? Can I not bridge the WAN to the LAN and then to the customer switch???
When I do this I find that the terminals don't want to boot up after a reset. Is this normal?

Hi,

When I install an SBG I connect the wan to the customers network and the phones to the lan ports possibly via a separate switch and leave the lan ip as default. Set the wan port IP to be on the customer network. The SBG seems to automatically use the wan port for any external traffic esp Sip I have found.
