ipecs offline admin

Has anyone made ipecs offline admin work on windows7. I can make it run on xp but not on new pc with windows7, when i click on the ip address it always tries to connect to a web site not my saved customer database. Have tried with both 5.0 and 5.5.

I use OWA 5.5Cj on windows 7 32 bit and I have no problems so far.
Is the OWA webserver port free on your pc?

Try to run it in XP compability mode - in W7.

Doktor,i will try compatability mode.
XS650,where is the owa webserver port located?
when loaded on xp it just worked without adjustments, still trying to find my way around win7.

When you click on the OWA icon in the taskbar there is a config menu where you can choose the webserver port 80 or 8080.
If you use IIS for example your port 80 should be used by IIS and you have to use port 8080. If both ports are used on your pc you can change the port in the registry to whatever is free on your pc.

finally made it work. win7 doesn't have iis turned on in default.
go into control panel,programs, turn mindows features on or off, turn on internet information services and then i can use owa. thanks all.
