Hi all. We have an issue with remote phones, there is no voice in both direction, but only for external calls. Internal calls from/to remote phones are working fine.
Here are the ports.

Forwarded to MFIM:
UDP: 5060-5061, 5588, 6254, 7000-7315, 6796, 6798, 6860, 8328.

Forwarded to VOIM:
TCP: 1720
UDP: 2048-3071, 6000-6047, 8000-8047, 9000-9047.

Any ideas?

Hi,
The remote phones use UDP 5588 to connect to the MFIM, so this needs to port fwd to the MFIM IP
The MFIM 300 has 6 IP Trks built into the system and these can be used for speech - UDP 7000 - 7315 and need to be port fwded to the MFIM IP

Then in PGM 132 - Sequence of the VoIP Gateway - this needs the Firewall IP Address (fixed Public IP Address). Make sure the RTP firewall IP is blank.

The VoIM8/24 will be used for speech only and uses UDP 6000-6047, 8000-8047 and 9000-9047 - so the port fwding needs to route to the VoIM8/24 IP Address.

Then in PGM 132 - Sequence of the VoIM8/24 - this needs the Firewall IP Address (fixed Public IP Address) and the routers IP Address (gateway) Make sure the RTP firewall IP is blank.

Then in PGM 140/141 - make sure that the VoIP channels are set for common and not SIP only.

Also ensure that in PGM 102/103 - your IP Address range for your devices are in the same IP Address range as you MFIM and Router (Gateway).

Regards
Steve
