hi all. i have an ipecs 100 which locked up when upgrading, it was sent to aria to repair and when it returned (with no explanation if it was fixed or not) i cannot access the main web page. i can connect a handset and it will start up and give me the mfim ip address but when i try to access via internet explorer or firefox does not show the front page. any ideas?

There is a window update that stops you from seeing the ipecs web page, you will need to uninstall this update from you machine in uninstall updates you will need to found microsoft windows KB 2585542 and uninstall this then restart your machine and you will found that this will then work fine

Also try with an older IE version like 6 or 7.

I would keep the MS patch and uncheck the TLS 1.0 support in the security settings.

Hi

Check if its the new software.

Try
Click the red x bullet icon to continue, not the green one!!!

Ipecs new 5.5 software requires this for the first time logging on. There are settings in programming to make it less secure but its not advisable to do this.

Eats.

thanks for all the tips, still cant get the web page.
i have an ipecs 50a running on the bench next to the ipecs 100 and can access the web page on that but when i connect to the ipecs 100 using http i get the message Internet explorer cannot display the web page if i try https i get there is a problem with the website's security certificate. if i then click on the red X (continue to this website)as suggested i get the previous message again.
any ideas?

do you have tested the tip from Randal1UK to delete KB 2585542 or mine to disable TLS1.0?

Best option is to uncheck TLS1.0,
and let Windows install the updates..

This works

then use to connect...

This is beacuse the Web TSL is ON and web server port is 443
(in PGM 160/161)..

Also note that if you turn off Web TLS in PGM 160/161 - you have to reset the system for the effects to take place.
