They have two ip500 DS30 PC02, ip 500 DS16 PC01, and IP 500 DS16 PCS04 expansion modules. No 44XX series phones on the control unit. Before today there were 6 44xx's on one ds30, 22 44xx's on another ds30, 11 44xx's on a ds16 and 9 44xx's on a ds16.
User would change extensions or desks or sometimes nothing and one way audio issue would arise. One work around I found is to take the 5410 that works elsewhere, and replace with a 4412 and get 2 way audio. Put back the 5410 and 2-way audio would return.
I reduced the number of 44xx's to 14 on each of the ds30 modules. My only concern is the documentation on Avaya's site say up to 27 44xx's on PCS05 or greater for ds30's and 16 on older expansion modules, but doesn't specify which type of older expansion modules. I'm thinking they work on DS16's as websites to purchase the modules say 44xx's work on them but am not sure.
Has anyone else come across this issue or know for sure if DS16's on 9.1 support 44xx sets?
