ip500v1 with the IP 400 Digital unit

Has anyone seen a defective external ip 400 digital module caused a ip500v1 to die? We have another ip500v1 enorute but don't want to plug in the ip400 digital unit if there is the possibility the digital module might cause another failure of the ip500v1.

SH Office now with IP capability ???

I have not had a module kill an entire processor, only a port so if it is a bad module it should only kill one of the expansion ports
