You can do a tie line
one in one out on both systems
IE
Partner LINE PORT to DS PORT IP500
IP500 ANALOG TO extension port ON PARTNER
Create call appearance on IP500 set for that line
should be able to dial from partner to IP500
Partner pick up that line and dial extension of IP500
IP500 call appearance to partner extension

Actually for that matter get a 2nd IP500 with a Phone8 card and a VCM running standard mode and do an SCN with the Partner connected via CO ports to the Phone8 in the IP500. Would show up as lines on the Partner and stations on the IP500.
