Hi all,

We currently have an inter-tel phone system that connects to our Japan office via a Cisco 3640 over T1. We are moving to an IP500 and I need help configuring it to work with the Cisco.

On the Inter-tel system, users dial 6 then the 7 digit extension of the user in Japan and the call connects. To test the IP500 setup, I've connected a T1 crossover cable to the Cisco. When I try to make a call on the IP500, the call connects, then drops after about 10 seconds.

I've attached a screenshot of our IP500 config including the config of the Cisco 3640. I added a system short code of 6N.

Any ideas or help would be great! Thanks!
