IP406 V2 DS analog card issue 3

Hi All,

Just installed a IP400 ATM4 UNI 4 Port Analogue Trunk Module in to a IP406 V2 DS.
I can see the lines with the ip office manager but on the unit all four LEDs are green and blinking and all the connected phones start ringing with 'external call' message.
Any idea what I did wrong ?

Hello,
I did create a route and t works.
I turn off 3 out of 4 ports and the remaining one route in/out to a group.
Phones stoped to ring .
Now the only peoblem is the green LED from port one on the trunk is stil blinking.
I'll come back with info gained via dte but apparently there the unit recognize the trunk board.

So you programmed all phones to ring for incoming calls, you were receiving incoming calls that rang those phones and you asked us why?

How can you receive incomming calls when your unit is not connected to an external line ?!

I update the unit to from 4.2 to 5
Trunk leds stop blinking , however after couple of secconds start to blink sequential ... like middle ones then first while the rest of them stay green.
Start the monitor and this is what it comes out:

I think you need to re-read amriddle's original post. If you have an analog trunk module with nothing plugged into it and it rings all phones and continually blinks you probably have a bad card. If you remove the trunk card and power the system up do all phones ring? You probably have some faulty hardware and need to troubleshoot what piece is faulty.

Amriddle was right and Telecomboy most helpful ! Apparently the card was faulty. They send me a replace and that one works fine.

I think you owe Andy some pink
