I have a IP403 (R2.0 (18) installed with a POTS 8 module, Analog Trunk Module 16. System has a VCM 20 also.
IP sets are connected to a Cajun P134G2 switch.

Problems:
When a call comes in on a trunk, sometimes the caller on can not hear the user when they speak.

There is a phantom user setup also for a Park scenario.
When a call is Parked on this button (appears on all phones) and is then retreived from another phone or sometimes the phone set that parked it, the caller on the trunk cannot hear the user when they speak.
Sometimes if you Park the call and then pick it up again the voice path will restore.

Another problem that I have been told about, but have not witnessed is when one user is on the phone talking with a party on a trunk or internal, and another call is picked up at another phone it is like a conference call, everyone is together or one of the parties is disconnected. The customer is telling me it's like cross-talk.

Does anybody have any ideas???????

Thanks,

Upgrade the firmware in your 4620 to the latest release from avaya V1.8 had many buggs including intermitant OWT

IPGuru,
What is OWT? Also what firmware is recommended? Does the latest work with IPO?

OWT = one way transmition.
the 2.0 admin CD's came with 1.8 firmware for the IP hardphones 1.8.1 is now available & resolves this issue

I am having the cross talk problem also. I have a 406 with 12 analog lines. When the operator puts two people on different park buttons they say it becomes a conferance line. I am on the latest release 3.0.44

Had Same Problems with a 406V2 with vcm 20 Via a laser to an 403 found that the phones affected where on module 3 on the 406 So Reprogrammed all users on module 3 and moved Them to expansion 6 for a temp fix . Also check the latest no issues on avaya web site
