I am having this problem with ipsets 4606 and 4612's I just installed. There are 7 ip sets at a remote location which are connected through a Avaya ROR wireless outdoor link. The connection is great with a connection of 80% If i do a ping over the wireless there is a delay of only 5-6ms and periodically 156ms ever 10 seconds. The problem is sometimes the ip sets will get no dial tone but if you were to dial a call the call will proceed and get connected. I did a list trace station and it shows the call connected. Inbound traffic is the same, only the outside caller can hear and there is no sound on the ip sets. This is a IP600 10. I have tried setting it with 802.1q/p tagging with vlan id 0,1,2,3 ip audio hairpinning. I am using g.711. Anybody have this happen or know what could be causing this? I am ready to call Denver but they want a arm and a log to help me out. Thanks

Just a quick note.

Sounds like the CLAN is routing but the PROWLER card is not. Question 1. Do you have other IP sets up and operational without shuffling or hairpinning turned on?
Question 2. If there are more that one subnet, did you set you DHCP extended information up correctly?

BashLess.

I've have tried phones without hairpinning and the problem still exists. I just replaced the medpro card and the problem is still there. The entire network is on one subnet. I am going to eliminate the network question by putting the voip on a network of it's own. Has any one seen this problem before?

Had this "one-way talkpath" issue w/our G3. Ended up being a patch to the Definity.

Sorry, that's all I've got

What version of the firmware are you using on the IP phones?
